Biobe AS develops and manufactures products in thermoplastic and thermoset materials for customers in the domestic and export markets. With processes including injection moulding, sheet moulding compound (SMC) pressing and resin transfer moulding (RTM), Biobe is one of the most comprehensive suppliers of product solutions, using multiple varieties of plastic material.
Biobe is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bewi Drift Holding AS and employs approximately 40 highly skilled workers. It is located in Fredrikstad, Norway, a major shipping harbour with excellent logistic capabilities, strengthening Biobe’s position as a reliable supplier. The company is well equipped with up-to-date machinery for extensive automated production and is able to handle projects of varying complexity. Our team offers customers product development, prototyping, engineering and project management services.
The company’s own range of products includes ventilators and a series of fire suppression and rescue equipment cabinets for industrial, marine and offshore applications. Biobe also supplies GRP pipe, flanges and tanks for industrial use and plumbing, making Biobe a provider of complete liquid handling solutions. Biobe also specialises in developing and manufacturing products (internals) for post-combustion capture technologies, especially for SO2 capture. Biobe AS has extensive experience as a supplier to international industry projects and has successfully delivered to over 50 power plant projects around the globe.
